Aberdeen Cocktail Week returns earlier than usual this year, bringing a special Spring edition to the city from May 14th to May 25th, 2025. If you’ve enjoyed this event before or you’re keen to explore Aberdeen’s exciting cocktail culture, this special edition offers an great lineup of venues and exclusive drinks, perfect for the brighter, warmer days ahead.

Over twelve days, you can visit favourite local spots including Dusk, The Firepit, Soul, Revolucion de Cuba, and Under The Hammer to sample specially crafted cocktails. Each bar will feature unique signature creations by talented local bartenders, available exclusively to festival wristband holders at accessible prices of £5 or £6, particularly highlighting local Aberdeen producers.

Festival organiser Gregor Sey explained that this spring edition came about due to strong local demand. “Our regulars told us they wanted more time to explore the city’s cocktail scene,” Sey noted, “and a more focused selection of must-try drinks. This feedback inspired us to extend the festival and carefully select a collection of standout cocktails.”

Martin Widerlechner from The McGintys Group, which runs Under The Hammer and several other venues, praised the festival’s impact: “Aberdeen Cocktail Week is now a well-established event in the calendar. It allows venues to try new things, organise special events, and welcome new customers. Hospitality faces many challenges, so it’s always great to see new faces coming through our doors.”
