V2k is one of the sharpest voices in Aberdeen’s street art scene, and Trajectories is his first solo exhibition. It opens on the same day as Nuart Aberdeen 2026, in which he is also taking part, making this a significant week for his practice. The show brings together painting and poetry as equally weighted parts of the same work.
Each piece corresponds to a different trajectory of human experience: healing, dreaming, love, family, repentance, and others. Taken together, they are intended as something like a map, one that responds to the socio-political world we’re living in now.

Works by V2k, whose street practice spans poem-texts, slogans and stencils across Aberdeen and beyond.
Text as structure
V2k’s street work has always carried text as a structural element rather than as caption, and that approach continues here. His is a practice that rewards close attention, where the written and the visual push against each other rather than illustrating the same point.
The opening night is Wednesday 23 April from 6pm at Kooperator Space on Schoolhill.
