The all-male New York ballet company returns to Aberdeen for the first time in over 20 years
When: Friday 19 June – Saturday 20 June 2026
Where: His Majesty’s Theatre
Tickets: aberdeenperformingarts.com
The Trocks are coming to Aberdeen for the first time since 2003. Every dancer plays both ballerina and danseur, and the comedy only lands because the technique is genuinely there.
Fresh from their 50th anniversary, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo have been doing this since 1974. The parody is rooted in real knowledge of the repertoire, which is what separates them from novelty.
The company in Aberdeen
Steven Milne, Head of Programming at Aberdeen Performing Arts, says they create “a warm, inclusive environment where the main aim is to relax and have fun,” with performances “underpinned by flawless technical dancing and a deep respect for their artform.”
The two-night run is presented by Dance Consortium, which tours international dance to audiences across the UK and Ireland.
