Whether you’re jamming in the main room or experimenting in the studio, it’s all about building community, sharing ideas, and supporting the next wave of local talent.

Ghost Stories
Ghost Stories, by Jeremy Dyson and Andy Nyman, is a spine-tingling stage experience that plays with fear, doubt, and the power of suggestion. It follows Professor Goodman as he investigates three eerie hauntings.
What starts as a rational quest to debunk the supernatural slowly unravels into something far more disturbing. Blending suspense and psychological twists, this one’s not for the faint-hearted.
The Grand Duke
Aberdeen Gilbert & Sullivan Society brings The Grand Duke to the stage—a lesser-known gem full of sharp wit and silliness. A troupe of actors plots to overthrow the ruler of Pfennig-Halbpfennig, but things quickly spiral.
With ‘Statutory Duels’ fought using playing cards, mix-ups, muddled marriages, and eccentric nobles, it’s a delightfully absurd tale making its north-east debut. Expect laughs, chaos, and classic G&S charm.
A Light From the Past Projected Into the Future
To celebrate Peacock’s 50th anniversary, artist David Bellingham is creating a striking light installation in the heart of Aberdeen. A Light From The Past Projected Into The Future will cast its glow across Rosemount Viaduct.
This one-off event links the city’s creative past with what lies ahead. It’s a moment worth catching—and a unique way to mark a milestone in Aberdeen’s cultural story.

Her exhibition, Dreamland, showcases a collection of her captivating and imaginative collages, offering visitors a glimpse into her creative world.
Cruel Intentions
Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical is heading to His Majesty’s Theatre after hit runs in London and New York. Based on the cult film, it’s packed with ’90s bangers from Britney, TLC, *NSYNC and more.
Follow scheming step-siblings Sebastian and Kathryn as their twisted bet leads to secrets, seduction, and chaos. Bold, nostalgic, and full of attitude—it’s the ultimate throwback night out.

Kevin P. Gilday, the voice behind Spam Valley, returns with a night of bold spoken word, big laughs, and straight-talking charm. Expect sharp new work alongside fan favourites, all delivered with wit and bite.
He’s here to show that poetry is far from dull—it’s loud, funny, and full of life. Think less quiet reading, more raucous night out. You’ve never seen poetry quite like this.
Sam Newbould Quintet
The Sam Newbould Quintet deliver high-energy jazz that’s full of feeling. This Amsterdam-based five-piece blends tight grooves, bold improvisation, and melodies that really stick with you.
Their sound moves between the intimate and the explosive, keeping you hooked throughout. Award-winning and endlessly creative, they’re a must-see for jazz fans and newcomers alike.
The Wind In the Willows
The Wind in the Willows rolls into the Arts Centre with a lively comedy from Shazam Theatre Company. Join Mole, Rat, Badger, and the wildly unpredictable Mr. Toad on a whirlwind adventure.
From high-speed escapades to mischief in the Wild Wood, it’s a tale of friendship, chaos, and the fight to save Toad Hall. There'll be laughs, mishaps, and plenty of heart.

MC Hammersmith: The MC Stands For Middle Class
MC Hammersmith hits the stage with lightning-fast freestyle and razor-sharp comedy raps, all made up on the spot from your suggestions. He’s got bars—and a suspiciously middle-class background to match.
Back with fresh material for 2025, expect jaw-dropping wordplay, smart punchlines, and big laughs. It’s improv, but with rhythm, rhyme, and a whole lot of cheek.
Dee to the Sea Sponsored Walk
Just a few tickets remain for Dee to the Sea, Greyhope Bay’s 31.5km fundraiser walk from Banchory to Torry Battery. It’s a scenic challenge with a purpose—supporting community and coastal connections.
Taking in riverside paths and coastal views, the walk helps fund Greyhope Bay’s work bringing people closer to nature and each other. Don’t miss your chance to take part.
Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol
Don’t miss your final chance to catch Artist Textiles: Picasso to Warhol, a fresh look at how modern art made its way onto fabric, fashion, and home design in the 20th century.
Featuring works by icons like Picasso, Warhol, Dalí, Matisse, and Zandra Rhodes, this exhibition shows how art left the gallery walls and became part of everyday life.
A Play, A Pie and A Pint: Night, Idiot
Dani’s life seems sorted—good job, new flat, and a perfect boyfriend. But when Paul suddenly disappears, things quickly start to fall apart and nothing feels quite as solid as it seemed.
Teaming up with her intense mother-in-law, Dani becomes tangled in doubt and obsession, replaying the night he vanished over and over. A darkly funny, fast-paced dive into uncertainty and control.

Wayword: Fierce Salvage, A Queer Words Anthology
404 Ink’s new anthology of Scottish queer writing takes the spotlight with host Michael Lee Richardson. Join Mae Diansangu, Robbie MacLeòid, Hannah Nicholson, and Shane Strachan as they read and discuss their work.
With pieces in English, Gaelic, and Scots, it’s a rich celebration of queer voices and languages from across Scotland. Powerful stories, thoughtful conversation, and a proper literary feast.
Oscar Edelstein in Concert
Oscar Edelstein brings his new concert Bitácoras to the Arts Centre, mixing his bold “un-classic” piano style with tapes, texts, and visuals by Welsh multimedia artist Deborah Claire Procter.
Edelstein is known for pushing boundaries, with a sound that’s drawn comparisons to Cecil Taylor, Zappa, and even Picasso. Aperformance that’s inventive, unpredictable, and full of surprises.
What the Thunder Said
This bold solo show dives into mental health, poetry, and everything in between. Sparked by an encounter with The Waste Land, a pair of yellow sunglasses, and a restless mind, it’s anything but ordinary.
Mischievous, reflective, and full of unexpected turns, the performance asks: what happens when the thunder speaks—and you really pay attention? Come curious, leave changed.
Aberdeen Student Show: Seagully Blonde
Kinkell Woods (but ye can ca her Elle, abdy does) is makkin’ her wye from oot in the sticks to the granite city to start a law degree (Fit, like it’s hard?!). She’s nae followin’ her ex there, honest.

Pride & Prejudice* (*sort of)
Pride and Prejudice* (*sort of) returns to Aberdeen after a hugely successful West End run and a haul of awards. It’s a smart, riotous retelling of Jane Austen’s classic with a modern twist.
Five women play every part, mixing sharp humour with pop bangers and full-on karaoke. Romance, chaos, and brilliant storytelling come together in a show that’s full of bite.
Legally Blonde
Legally Blonde comes to the Arts Centre in a high-energy musical from AEA Productions. Join Elle Woods—and her chihuahua sidekick Bruiser—as she ditches sorority life for Harvard Law in a bid to win back her ex.
But her journey quickly becomes about more than love, as she tackles snobbery, stereotypes, and scandal head-on. With big laughs, catchy tunes, and loads of heart, this one’s full of feel-good moments.

Huge (yes, Huge 😛) is back with a show packed full of songs he definitely didn’t write—think family hand-me-downs from the likes of Batman, Ash Ketchum, and all six Friends. It’s surreal, silly, and strangely catchy.
Armed with his wearable keyboard and trademark deadpan delivery, he brings a mix of offbeat humour and oddball crowd moments. A brilliantly weird tribute that’ll keep you grinning.
