Queer Club Sabotage Returns for Pride Weekend
Cabaret, DJ Inner Saboteur, LEZZER QUEST, and more bring energy and connection this June.

Sabotage, Aberdeen’s underground queer club night, returns this June with its second Pride After-Party. Held at Unit 51 on Saturday 7 June, it’ll bring a mix of music, cabaret, and protest art to the city.
LEZZER QUEST, the Glasgow DJ duo of Bonzai Bonner and Anna Gram, will headline from midnight to 2am. Known for their ‘anything goes’ sets, they’ve played alongside some of the scene’s biggest names and recently made their Panorama Bar debut in Berlin. Originally a one-off collaboration, LEZZER QUEST has grown into a sought-after name in club culture, holding residencies at venues like The Berkeley Suite, Sub Club, and La Cheetah, and bringing their energy to festivals across Europe.

Performance and Community
The cabaret kicks off at 9pm, promising playful performances. Neuroqueer host Niki Rush will set the tone, followed by high-energy lip-sync artist Zula Deep, local drag performer Oli Oli Oli, musical theatre with Makaton sign language by Will Cozens, old-school drag glamour from Miss Ginger Schnapps, and Sleepy delivering a unique female, female impersonation. DJ Inner Saboteur will keep the night flowing from 11pm before LEZZER QUEST take over at midnight.
Sabotage was founded in 2023 by DJ Inner Saboteur to give Aberdeen’s queer community a space to gather, dance, and connect. “Creating a space like Sabotage has been about showing that queer people belong here, in Aberdeen, in our nightlife, and in every part of our culture,” they said.

A Night of Art and Celebration
The night will also feature hype dancers and protest art from young trans artists, making the space entertaining and a statement of resistance and visibility. Unit 51’s industrial space sets the scene for the celebration, blending music and art with community spirit. Sabotage offers a night of connection and culture that’s worth experiencing for yourself.
Last year’s Sabotage After-Party drew nearly 400 people. This year’s event runs from 8pm to 3am, with tickets available via OutSavvy.
