What the f*ck is going on?

Welcome to MAY! In this issue of Your Aberdeen, we are introducing the POST Events Calendar. Since we launched POST, we saw a need to find a space on our website for upcoming Aberdeen events. Both so we don’t miss them, and you don’t miss them.

Aberdeen culture and community events can be easy to miss with the many national tours and big names that make their way to the city. We wanted something a little bit more indie. A calendar of the events from groups that don’t have a huge budget to promote. Events that are still not to be missed. Arts, music, comedy, cinema, small business launches and other community events which make Aberdeen an interesting place to live.

Additionally, we want to include album releases from musical artists and bands with an Aberdeen background. One more way to support local musicians along with our Aberdeen playlist, The Lounge.

We’ll be able to include events within our news articles, and of course, share them through our social media channels.

We will always be looking to add events to the calendar, but if you want to make sure we don’t miss YOUR event, you can add them yourself on our dedicated page.

Let us know what you think. We're always open to fresh ideas to make it better and more useful for you.

Enjoy the best of last month, and our usual look forward to the month ahead.
