Aberdeen is about to be immersed in the rhythm and energy of Afro-indie music with the return of the Afro Indie Series 2.0. A collaboration between Raven Afrikulture and Aberdeen Performing Arts, this new season of performances will bring the heart and soul of African culture to the Lemon Tree. Running over the coming months, the series is an exciting opportunity for local artists to connect with established African musicians and share their unique sounds.
The Afro Indie Series 2.0 promises unforgettable experiences, blending traditional African influences with modern indie music. It’s a chance to explore a diverse range of sounds, styles, and stories, offering something for everyone ready to discover the richness of African music. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to Afro-indie music, the series will transport you to a world where the music takes centre stage, and every performance is an exploration of cultural fusion.
