Bigger and Better: TEDxAberdeen 2024 Ticket Applications Now Open
Join TEDxAberdeen 2024 this November to explore the theme of identity—apply now for tickets before the 13 October deadline.
TEDxAberdeen is back on Saturday, 16 November, with a powerful lineup of speakers ready to tackle this year’s theme: Identity. The event will be held at The Music Hall for the first time with 300 tickets available, allowing even more people to join this exciting day of ideas, connection, and conversation.
Like official TED events, TEDx talks follow the same format of short, powerful talks (usually 18 minutes or less), centred around “ideas worth spreading.” However, because TEDx is community-driven, it’s often more grassroots, with a mix of local thought leaders, innovators, and experts sharing their insights on topics ranging from technology and science to culture and social issues.
Diverse Talks on Identity
This year’s theme will be explored from every angle, with topics ranging from the male identity crisis and the impact of artificial intelligence to the ways fast fashion shapes our self-image. Speakers from across the North-East of Scotland will take the stage to offer their insights. Whether they’re discussing death and the loss of individual identity or the dark side of the personal development industry, each talk is set to spark thoughtful conversations.
TEDx events are about creating connections and sparking conversations. We’re excited to offer more tickets this year so even more people can hear these fresh perspectives on identity and its complexities.
