Aberdeen’s Curated in the Quad Christmas market is returning with a bigger, brighter, and more creative twist this year, inviting local creative businesses and makers to transform the historic quadrangle at Marischal College into a haven of festive creativity.

From November 15 to December 22, the market will run for six weekends, offering you the perfect stage to present your work to thousands of visitors drawn to this sparkling winter wonderland.

For those passionate about their craft, Curated in the Quad is a celebration of the North East’s creative spirit. Whether you’re a skilled jeweller, a talented artist, a master of homeware, or a culinary innovator, this is your chance to connect with a community that values handmade and heartfelt creations. With more chalets and twinkling lights than ever, the atmosphere will set the scene for your work to shine.

Curated in the Quad is a cornerstone of the Aberdeen Christmas Village, an event that brings the heart of the city alive with festive cheer. This year, the call is out for local creative businesses to showcase their unique offerings. By participating, you’re gaining exposure for your work and supporting a wonderful cause, as all proceeds benefit Charlie House, a charity that’s making a real difference in the lives of children with life-limiting conditions in the North East of Scotland.

Christmas in the Quad is one of my most successful markets of the year. I’ve been lucky enough to be part of this super shopping event for the past six years helping to showcase what Aberdeen City has to offer.

It gives me, as a local maker and small business, the ideal ’shop front’ right in the heart of the city during this peak season.

Last year, Curated in the Quad raised a remarkable £24,500 for Charlie House, underscoring the power of the creative community coming together for good. With spots expected to fill up quickly, you can secure your place by applying through Charlie House.
