POST celebrates Aberdeen’s creative scene, spotlighting everything from theatre and music to visual art. Our focus is on showcasing the city’s artistic talent and helping local voices reach new audiences.
We believe creativity is vital to Aberdeen and its communities. Through features, event coverage, and artist profiles, we’re here to support underrepresented voices and share the stories that shape the city.
Exclusive Cocktails and New Creations
“Each participating establishment brings something unique to the table,” said Charlie Bain of Aberdeen Cocktail Week, “whether it’s innovative mixology, exceptional hospitality, or simply a fantastic atmosphere.”
Wristband holders will have access to specially crafted cocktails at every participating venue. More than 70 limited-edition drinks are expected across the city, with prices starting from £5. Each venue will offer between one and four custom creations, and the full menu—still under wraps—promises a wide mix of styles, spirits and flavours.

Cocktail of the Year 2024
The 2025 edition follows the announcement of last year’s Cocktail of the Year win for Revolution’s ‘Doughnut Kill My Vibe.’ The drink, created by bartender Lewis Brown, combined Kinder Bueno-infused vodka, Kahlua, caramel syrup and milk, topped with a decadent Dough & Co doughnut garnish.
“This was a perfect opportunity to support [Dough & Co] while creating something delicious that brings joy to our customers,” said Lewis, who’s worked in hospitality for seven years. His cocktail won out after more than 400 attendees cast their votes.

A City-Wide Celebration
This year’s participating venues include: Amarone, Arcadia Bar and Games, Bar One Eighty by Legends, Cafe Andaluz, Codona’s, College Bar, Common Sense Coffee House and Bar, Dusk, Fierce Bar Aberdeen, Malmaison, McGinty’s Meal an Ale, Monty’s Wine Shop and Bar, Moossh Cafe & Wine Bar, No.10 Bar & Restaurant, OGV Taproom, Paramount Bar, Revolution, Revolución de Cuba, Soul, Tarragon On The Terrace, The Albyn, The Braided Fig, The Firepit By Smoke & Soul, The Noose and Monkey, The Spiritualist Aberdeen, The Tilted Wig, and Under The Hammer.
Launched in 2022, Aberdeen Cocktail Week has quickly become a key fixture in the city’s social calendar. It’s a chance to celebrate local bars and bartenders, explore new places, and enjoy limited-edition drinks in a fun, welcoming setting. The festival boosts city centre footfall, helping highlight the talent and creativity across Aberdeen’s hospitality scene.
